About One

Headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, the One Million Black Women Fund was found with a simple yet compelling mission, to close the economic gap facing Black women and help them build business, healthy & sustainable communities, and wealth. We are One Million Black Women committed to empowering and developing healthy communities through investment, activism, and education.We are a community operated fund. It just takes $10 a month to become One Member. With one million Black women investing $10 or more a month we will increase the overall financial solvency of Black women in America through various education tools, funding black women lead businesses and productions, developing affordable home ownership, healthcare, and childcare facilities. We have created an investment vehicle that yielding solid returns, and elevates black women. Our members have a voice in the projects and opportunities that we fund. 

One community

We currently have local and national Ambassadors in over 20 states. Our Local Ambassadors work to recruit members and assess and identify funding opportunities through hosting strategic networking and financial literacy events for Black women within their prospective state. Our National Ambassadors create a national network of partners to accomplish our development and educational goals.
